Alyson Scheibe is a wildlife biologist, naturalist, and shinrin-yoku practitioner. She first learned from the forests of central and southern Ohio, and later at West Virginia University where she studied wildlife management and conservation ecology. Her life has been enriched by working experiences in avian research, stormwater management, and habitat design, while always maintaining an aspect of community engagement. Alyson started Cambium in 2022 with the intention of helping others connect with themselves and the world around them in a meaningful way. In doing so she facilitates educational programs, assists landowners in creating pollinator habitat, guides shinrin-yoku walks, and hosts nature retreats.
