Join us as Alyson Scheibe of Cambium takes us into the world of pollinator habitat! This workshop is designed for beginners interested in creating welcoming habitats for pollinators like bees, butterflies, and other beneficial insects. This session will guide participants through the steps of habitat creation and conclude with an on-site tour of established pollinator habitat to spark inspiration. Participants will walk away with a foundational knowledge of pollinators and how to create spaces to support them, and resources to put it into action.

Pollinator Habitats 101

Alyson Scheibe is a wildlife biologist, naturalist, and shinrin-yoku practitioner. She first learned from the forests of central and southern Ohio, and later at West Virginia University where she studied wildlife management and conservation ecology. Her life has been enriched by working experiences in avian research, stormwater management, and habitat design, while always maintaining an aspect of community engagement. Alyson started Cambium in 2022 with the intention of helping others connect with themselves and the world around them in a meaningful way. In doing so she facilitates educational programs, assists landowners in creating pollinator habitat, guides shinrin-yoku walks, and hosts nature retreats
